Hi, my name is Lauren, founder of Fellbeing. I live in the Yorkshire Dales with my husband and Border Collie. Having practised yoga for 10 years I have experienced first hand its transformative power for holistic wellness.
My passion is in sharing that yoga is for EVERY BODY.
If you can breathe you can do yoga.
Yoga is so much more than asana (physical poses) and the practise extends far beyond the yoga mat. My personal practise takes me to the local fells, lakes and tarns.
Coming from a rural background in Yorkshire, I have a deep connection to nature. I love to weave this into my offerings through outdoor yoga, sound baths, wanders and wild swims. I believe that the more we connect with the natural world, the deeper we can meet our own true nature and inner peace.
Having worked as a Social Worker for 7 years I know the challenges of a busy working life. I've learnt from experience that self care isn't a luxury or an occasional hot soapy bath. It's a necessity- for yourself and for everyone around you. If you are not meeting your own needs, you cannot be kind and compassionate to others or share your true potential.
As one of my teachers Swami Gyan Dharna says "If we desire peace in the world, we must first create peace within ourselves"

Fellbeing est.2022
After completing my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training I went on to specialise in Sound Healing. I continue to be fascinated by how sound can support people to access that deeper state of relaxation, even when they may have found other types of meditation practises challenging. I am trained in Level 2 Reiki and most recently acquired my STA Outdoor Swim Coach Qualification.
Whether you attend a class, retreat or book a 1:1 with me, my aim is for you to leave feeling inspired and centred in yourself. I will share practises that you can use to ground and connect to yourself in your day to day life.
These healing modalities have supported me through life's ups and downs; day in, day out. So it's from my heart to yours that I share them with you.
